For the LJSL.ORG site to work well, teams will be responsible for keeping the game statistics up to date by submitting game results. Here are the few mandatory steps for coaches (Minors to Seniors) to manage their teams throughout the season:
1) Team Activation:
On the Home Page click on My Team, then Activate in the left column and then go from there. The Activation code will be provided to you at season begin. Fill in your personal information and enter your personal password. Together with your email address you can enter your Team page from the LJSL Home Page.
2) Add your Team Roster: This is optional, but fun if you want to keep track of stats. To add manually: With your email address and password you can enter your Team page from the LJSL Home Page (top left corner). Go to My Team, and then the Add to Squad tab on the left column. You can get the players' names from the registration website sportssignup.com.
3) File Game reports after each game: With your email address and password you can enter your Team page from the LJSL Home Page (top left corner). Please go to My Team and then Game Report in the left column. File the game result, scorers (if you want to) and penalties (if you want to). Each coach has to do that after each game in order for schedules and standings to be updated.
Additional optional features are to keep track of goal scorers and disciplinary action. The site might be used to communicate with teams (this only works if all players register themselves on the website using the button on the home page).
